Daisy, No. 40 WW1 Military Model, Variant 1, CAL: .177BB, MFG: 1916-18, SN: None, Lever Action BB Gun. The original straight grip wood stock is good & solid, with a 6'' grain crack on the right side, a 1'' grain crack on the left & a 1'' grain crack at the top of the wrist, along with other contusions, dings & scrapes. The metal finish has worn to metal gray, with spotting, toning to a brown patina & remnants of original blue on the lever. The receiver holds an adjustable rear sight & the barrel holds an adjustable blade front sight. No buttplate. This already scarce variation comes complete with the extremely rare rubber tipped bayonet, which by itself sells for $300-500, as well as the original tan cloth sling, which alone can sell for around $100 (prices according to the BB of Air guns). The extended shot tube with knurled end is also present & correct, protruding 1/4'' beyond the muzzle. This complete setup is seldom seen & highly sought after by collectors. BB Gun, No FFL Req. - Value: 200 to 400
