Winchester, Model 1886, CAL: 33 WCF, MFG: 1902, SN: 128723, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are very good & solid. They display numerous minor contusions, scratches & scrapes to the original finish, which is thinning, flaking & has darkened in areas of wear. There is a small 1/2'' chip on the left side of the forend at the forend cap. The original metal blue finish remains at 85% on the barrel & mag, while the receiver retains 30% with the remainder worn gray & toning to a thin brown patina. There is a small dent on the right side of the mag tube about 7'' from the muzzle end. Bore is very good. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & a Lyman half moon front sight with an ivory bead. Buttstock carries a crescent metal buttplate. Tight smooth action. A very nice & all original 1886 rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
