BOXED Browning, Model 1886 Limited Edition High Grade Rifle, marked 45-70 GOVT., MFG. 1986, SN: 01837PT697, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Octagon barrel, Full mag. Patterned after the general specifications of the Winchester 1886 & produced on the 100 year anniversary of the rifle. Only 3000 produced, Rifle is essentially new, The checkered high grade walnut stocks are virtually mint. The grayed steel receiver with game scene engraving include gold elk & American bison, gold accenting with ''1 of 3,000'' engraved on the top of the barrel. Retains fully 100% of factory blue on all surfaces, Bore is Mint, Metal buttplate, White diamond full buckhorn rear & standard front sight. A fantastic High Grade rifle. Comes in the original SN matching box with packaging & booklet. This is one of a set of 6 boxed Browning firearms being sold separately in this auction all with matching SN ''01837'', Lots: 4078, 4079, 4080, 4081, 4295 & 4296. FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 2500
