Winchester, Model 1885 Low Wall Rifle, .32 WCF Cal., MFG. 1892, SN: 58290, Lever Action Single Shot Rifle, 26'' Octagon #1 marked barrel. The original wood stocks are excellent, with several minor contusions, handling marks & scratches the original thinning finish. The case-hardened receiver, block, lever, hammer & buttplate have worn or toned to a brown patina, with some smokey outlines of case-colors remaining mostly on the left side of receiver & in more protected areas. The original metal blue finish on the barrel is toning to brown patina, with 80% coverage. Bore is good, with spotty roughness amongst thinning rifling. The rifle is fitted with a Lyman flip-up tang sight, while the barrel carries the original adjustable rear & front sight. Metal crescent buttplate. The # ''1'' is stamped in front of the forend tip on the barrel. An original & authentic looking 1885 rifle. Antique No FFL Req. - Value: 700 to 1200
