Ruger Model No. 1, CAL: 45-70 GOVT, MFG: 1976, SN: 130-29422, Single Shot Lever Action Falling Block Rifle. 22'' Round barrel. Special edition, with the left side of the barrel stamped ''Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty''. The factory checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, displaying minor scratches & contusions to the original factory finish. There is an area on the flat of the right wrist where the stock meets the receiver that has some edge chipping & scratches that occurred while someone was cleaning rust pitting on the receiver in that area. The metal blue finish rates 95% on the barrel, with a 1/4'' spot of cleaned rust pitting at the muzzle end & 90% on the receiver, but with scratches & scarring on the same aforementioned area of rust pitting on the right back edge of the receiver. Lever blue toning plum. Bore is excellent. Barrel carries a Burris 4x Mini scope, a folding leaf rear sight & a front blade on tall ramp. Buttstock carries a factory Ruger red recoil pad, with a bit of edge chipping. Sling studs. FFL Req. - Value: 500 to 1500
