Stevens, Favorite 1915, CAL: 32 Long, MFG: 1915-40, SN: 521, Lever Action Rolling Block Single Shot Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel. The straight grip wood stocks are very good, displaying the thin remains of the orginal finish. There are several minor scratches & contusions. The name ''AL. J. STURM'' is nicely stamped in 1/8'' block letters on both sides of the wrist & on the belly of the stock behind the lower tang. The metal surfaces have fully toned to an even brown patina, with some light speckling. The right flat of the barrel is stamped in two lines, ''J Stevens Arms & Tool Co. Chicopee Falls Mass. USA''. Top of the receiver is stamped ''TRADE MARK FAVORITE'', While the top of tang is Stamped ''MODEL 1915'' Bore is good, with some roughness amongst strong rifling. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & Rocky Mountain front blade sight. Stock carries a Stevens Favorite checkered buttplate. Take-down screw on bottom of the receiver.
