Savage Model 219, CAL:.22 Hornet, MFG: 1938-47, SN: None, Break Action Rifle, 26'' round barrel. The pistol grip wood stocks are very good, displaying a number of small contusions, surface scrapes & scuffs to the factory finish. There are also a couple of chips to the edge of the pistol grip. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 60%, while the receiver displays a mix of gun metal gray & a thin brown patina, with some remains of blue in more protected areas. Some light pitting & speckling on the metal surfaces. The barrel fitted with an adjustable buckhorn rear & ramped blade front sights. Bore is good & bright, but with some roughness amongst thinning rifling. The buttstock carries a serrated black plastic buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
