Remington, Model 14, .30 REM Cal., MFG. 1913, SN:7000, Pump Auction Rifle, 22'' Round barrel, The original flat pistol grip wood stock is fair & solid, having been sanded & re-oiled. The forend is very good & carries the original finish thinning from use. There are tight 4'' stress cracks at the wrist on both sides & a couple of 2'' cracks emanating from the lower tang. There are other finish scratches, gouges & contusions. The metal blue has 80% coverage on the barrel, 50% on the receiver & 30% on the mag tube. The barrel carries a replaced adjustable rear sight missing the elevator & a brass bead small blade front sight. Bore is very good. The stock carries a serrated metal buttplate that was non-professionally fitted & the wood shows and marks or scarring at the edge. Safety button pained red. Action is smooth, tight & functions well.
