Winchester, Model 1890 3rd variation, .22 SHORT Cal., MFG. 1913, SN: 529480, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are good & solid, with numerous minor scrapes, scratches & contusions to the original darkened finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel has fully toned to an even chocolate brown patina, while the receiver & mag tube have worn to a mix of gun metal gray & a thin brown patina. The barrel holds a Savage Arms Corp. adjustable rear sight & a small blade front sight. The barrel has a couple of ''XX's'' traced onto the flat behind the rear sight. The bore is poor, with lots of pitting & roughness, a couple of rings & almost no rifling. The crescent metal buttplate. Mag tube has LR sized feeding slot. Missing screw in lower tang. Well used, ''Short only'' rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
