Winchester, Model 61, CAL: .22 S. L. or L.R., MFG: 1959, SN: 274473, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel. Grooved receiver. The original flat pistol grip wood stock & grooved forend are good, with numerous minor scratches, scrapes or contusions to the original thinning finish. There is a larger gouge on left side of stock by buttplate & one on left side of forearm. The original metal blue finish rates 70% overall, with a couple of areas of rust pitting & scratches on both the barrel & receiver. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds a replaced adjustable rear & original small blade front sights. Buttstock carries a checkered Winchester plastic buttplate. Smooth action. A used but solid original example.
