JC Higgins, Model 103.228, Made by Marlin & similar to a Marlin Model 80, CAL: 22 S. L. L.R, MFG: 1941-68, SN: None, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is very good & solid, having been lightly sanded & oiled. There are very few minor handling marks remaining. The metal blue finish rates 80% on barrel, 60% on receiver toning plum. Bore is excellent. The barrels holds an adjustable rear & small blade front sights. Buttstock carries a plastic buttplate. Correct detachable mag. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 150 to 300
