Wm. Parkhurst, Belgian Hammer Double, CAL:. 410, MFG: 1898-1914, SN: 5647, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 28'' barrels. The checkered flat pistol grip stocks are very good & solid, having been sanded & refinished. There are scratches, scrapes & dings throughout, with a blank shield initial plate on the bottom of the grip. The laminated steel barrels display a nice pattern, toned to a brown patina, with the areas toning to metal gray. The case-hardened receiver has toned to a brown patina, with shadows of case-coloring & faint tones remaining in heavily protected areas. Bores are excellent. The solid rib has a flattened front bead. Stock has a widows peak metal buttplate. These guns were marketed by Schoverling, Dalyt (an importer of shotguns from 1880-1914).
