Colt, 1851 Navy, CAL: .36, MFG: 1860, SN: 96708, Single Action Percussion Revolver, 7 1/2'' barrel. The walnut grips are very good, having been lightly sanded & refinished. There are contusions, dings & light scrapes. The metal blue finish has fully worn to metal gray, with a thin brown patina. The trigger guard has remnants of silver or nickel finish. There is cleaned pitting, mostly concentrated to the ramrod & cylinder. Bore is good & bright, with consistent roughness & intermittent pitting. Cylinder nipples appear to be replaced. Small notch rear sight integrated into the hammer & bead front sight. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
