Colt, New Service Model 1909 Army, CAL: .45, MFG: 1911, SN: 46061, Double Action Revolver, 5 1/2'' barrel. The wood grips are very good & solid. There are contusions, scrapes & dings. The restored metal blue finish rates 98%, with intermittent spots of cleaned pitting underneath. The top of the barrel carries the standard address & patent dates, the left side of the barrel is marked ''COLT D.A. 45'', & the bottom of the barrel is marked ''UNITED STATES PROPERTY'' & ''RAC''. The right side of the frame has a ''R.A.C'' proof above the right grip. The butt is marked ''U.S ARMY MODEL 1909 NO. 46061''. Bore is excellent, with a couple patches of roughness. U-notch rear sight & dorsal fin blade front sight. Lanyard loop present. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 900 to 1800
