SCARCE, Colt, King Cobra Legacy Edition 8 of 1000, CAL: .357 MAG, MFG: 1996, SN: KC0008, Double Action Revolver, 6'' barrel. This scarce American Historical Foundation variation is seldom seen & one of the hardest to find of all the AHS Special Editions. While 1000 were commissioned to be built, they were never completed due to production cost being too high. The Colt Legacy Edition medallion finger groove wood grips are excellent. The high gloss finish is excellent. The revolver is entirely plated in gold titanium. The finish rates 99% overall. The left side of the barrel is marked in a banner ''LEGACY KING COBRA EDITION'', with a snake intertwined with the banner. The left side of the frame is marked ''ONE of 1000'' in a banner, with the Rampant Colt above the left grip & Colt logo ahead of the cylinder. The right side of the barrel is marked with the caliber & standard address. Comes in a period correct blue plastic Colt hard case, with owners manual. A must have for a snake gun collection.
