Description

Smith & Wesson, U.S Army Model 1917 (.45 Hand Ejector), CAL: .45, MFG: 1917-46, SN: 171239, Double Action Revolver, 5 1/2'' barrel. The smooth walnut grips are excellent. The metal blue finish rates 98% on the barrel & 95% on the frame, with most loss on the backstrap. The case-hardened trigger & hammer retain visible case-colors. Standard markings on the butt & barrel. S24 & S34 can be found on the cylinder face & barrel flat. S&W trademark logo on the right side of the frame. ''E.C. HEIKKILA'' is stamped on the backstrap. Bore is excellent. Notch rear sight & blade front sight. Lanyard loop present. A nice example of a 1917 Army. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1400 to 2200
