Smith & Wesson, Model 53: The .22 Centerfire Magnum AKA ''Jet'', 4 Screw, CAL: .22 REM JET/.22 S.L.LR inserts, MFG: 1961, SN: K448085, Double Action Revolver, 5 7/8'' barrel. The S&W logo medallion checkered wood grips are excellent. There are contusions & handling marks to the finish. The metal blue finish rates 95% overall. The case-hardened trigger & hammer retain vivid case-colors. Bore is excellent. Micrometer click adjustable rear sight & serrated blade front sight. Missing grip screw. This revolver comes with factory nickel-wash coated steel inserts to fire a .22 S/L/LR cartridge out of the factory .22 CF MAG (.22 JET) cylinder. The switch on the hammer can be moved to fire either centerfire magnum or rimfire cartridges. A revolver that essentially can shoot four different cartridges. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 900 to 1700
