CASED, U.S Historical Society, Jefferson Davis Colt 1851 Navy CAL: .36, MFG: Modern, SN: 61, Single Action Percussion Revolver, 7 1/2'' barrel. The wood grips on the pistol & the buttstock on the shoulder stock are both excellent. The metal blue finish on the barrel & cylinder rates 99%. The case-hardened frame, ramrod & hammer all retain great case-colors. The silver trigger guard rates 99%, but has a thin aged patina. The frame, barrel lugs/muzzle, ramrod, hammer, & trigger guard all display intricate ornamental scroll engraving. The silver forend on the shoulder stock is also fully engraved in a similar pattern. Bore is excellent. Groove & blade sights. Comes in a factory wood presentation case, with inlaid leather lid, grey/blue velvet interior, key, percussion caps, bullet mold, white gloves & powder flask. Appears to be unfired.
