Baikal, Model: IJ-70 Makarov, Cal: 9x18mm Makarov, MFG: 1990s, S/N: A030662 (Importer S/N), Semi-auto pistol, 3 5/8'' barrel. The checkered plastic grips are excellent with little to no wear. Left grip is marked ''BAIKAL'', the right grip is marked ''MADE IN RUSSIA''. The blued metal finish rates 98% overall with little to no wear. The left side of the slide is marked with the import stamps & the original Russian S/N ''A AH3636''. Left side of the frame is marked with both the importer S/N, & the Russian S/N. the right side of the slide is marked ''IJ-70'', ''Cal. 9mm Makarov''. The right side of the frame is marked ''Made in RUSSIA''. The bore is excellent. Bright & mirror like with no visible wear. The slide holds small blade front sight with a fully adjustable square notch rear sight. This pistol comes with two * rd. magazines, one cleaning rod, one disassembly tool, & a brown leather military holster. The IJ-70 pistol is just a version of the Makarov that was made for import into the US in the 90s after the fall of the USSR in 1991. FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
