Nagoya Arsenal, Model: Nambu type 14, Cal: 8x22 Nambu, MFG: 1945, S/N: 67221, Semi-auto pistol. 4 5/8'' barrel. The wood ''slab'' grips are very good with small nicks, dings, & dents. The blued metal finish rates 85% overall with areas of wear/scratches. There is light rust emanating from inside the trigger group. The left side of the frame is marked with Japanese lettering. The right side of the frame is marked with the Nagoya Arsenal logo, inspector stamp, S/N, ''20.1'', & other proof marks. The bore is excellent. Its bright & mirror like with minor wear. The barrel holds a barleycorn front sight with a square notch rear sight. Pistol comes with one 8 Rd. aluminum base magazine. Originally designed in 1902 the type 14 Nambu would go on to replace the Type 26 Revolver in 1926 & would be used by the Japanese army until the end of WW2. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
