Marlin, Model 336A, CAL: 35 Rem, MFG:1979, SN: H21929, Lever Action Rifle, 23 3/4'' round barrel, 2/3rds mag. The checkered & capped pistol grip wood stock appears to be an updated factory replacement, which is excellent, with no handling marks to the original finish. The forearm appears to be the original smooth grip, which is excellent, with several small contusions to the excellent original finish. The metal blue finish rates 90% overall. The top of the receiver has five modern screw filled holes for potential scope mount. The barrel carries an adjustable rear & ramp elevated hooded blade front sights. Bore is excellent, with strong rifling. Stock carries the original Marlin solid rubber recoil pad. Factory trademark bullseye in belly of the stock. Sling studs. A solid lever action hunting rifle.
