Marlin, Model 62 Levermatic Carbine, CAL: marked 30 U.S Carbine, CAL: 1968, SN: 68 49038, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' barrel. The original capped pistol grip, Monte Carlo style wood stock is excellent. It displays very few tiny handling marks to its excellent original finish. The metal blue finish rate 97% overall. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & ramp/blade front sight. Buttstock carries the original Marlin checkered black plastic buttplate. Sling swivels. Marlin trademark bullseye in the belly of the stock. Original detachable mag. A previous owner electric pencil marked both sides of the receiver & next to the lever with a seven digit DL #. A very nice example of an original carbine. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
