English walnut stocks, with lever-release splinter forend, bakelite pistol grip cap, classic point-pattern checkering, beaded pancake cheekpiece, sling eye, & vacant initial oval. Finish & condition is excellent with very few handling marks. Border-engraved, case-hardened receiver & sidelocks, with Jones underlever, rebounding locks & no separate safety catch. Case-colors remain vivid. 97% coverage of the rich bluing on carrels. London black powder proved. Tight & with excellent bores. Sling eye, & doll's head extension. 14 3/8'' pull from front trigger to the end of the Silvers red rubber recoil pad. Weight: 14lbs, 5oz. Comes stored in period canvas wrapped trunk case, with brass corners, maker's label & innumerable loading accessories. Investment grade & highly collectible double rifle.
