Remington Model 722, CAL: 222 REM, MFG: 1951, SN: 211335, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, having been lightly sanded & professionally refinished. There are very few minor handling marks remaining to the excellent finish. There is a small chip at the edge of the flat pistol grip. The metal blue finish rates 90% overall, with additional wear on the floorplate & trigger guard. The rifle carries a Burris 3x-9x Fullfield scope on Burris rings & blocks, while the barrel has an open rear dovetail & the front sight ramp removed. Bore is excellent. Buttstock carries a Remington checkered metal buttplate. Sling studs. A sharp looking hunting rifle in a popular varmint caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 900
