CUSTOM Savage, Model 340 B Series, CAL: 22 HP, MFG: 1960's, SN: 003CGB, Bolt Action Rifle, 26'' Round barrel. This rifle was built utilizing a Savage 340 B action. The custom gray, black & tan laminated wood stock is excellent. It features a large flat bottom `thumbhole pistol grip & a large cheek Monte Carlo styling. It carries the original finish, with virtually no handling marks. The metal blue finish rates 98% overall. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel is marked ''22 SAVAGE HI-POWER .224''. The left side of the receiver has four open holes where a scope mount previously resided. The scope mount with screws, comes with the rifle for future scope mounting. The barrel carries no open sight provisions. Buttstock carries a Boyds' solid recoil pad. Original detachable mag. Stock has open sling stud holes. Excellent overall condition.
