Remington, Model 8, 32 REM CAL, MFG. 1911, SN: 25610, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original round knob pistol gripped wood stocks are very good & solid. Much of the the original wood finish has worn or flaked away, particularly at the carry points. There are minor scrapes, ding & contusions to the wood. The original metal blue finish rates 40% on the barrel, while the receiver has worn mostly gun metal gray, with maybe 15% of thinned toning blue remaining in more protected areas. The barrel has standard adjustable rear sight & elongated front blade sight. Bore is good, but with some roughness amongst strong rifling. Stock carries the Remington plastic buttplate, which has broken in several places & been glue assembled, a couple of missing edge chips & a small internal piece missing. 5 rd fixed magazine. The right sidee of the barrel collar has a ''RB'' stamped inside a circle. The barrel has a couple of small contusions. A well used hunting rifle, but with lots of hunting life remaining.
