Heckler & Koch, Model: MR762A1, Cal: 7.62 mm X 51, MFG: MODERN, S/N: 242-406220, Semi-auto rifle, 16.5'' medium contour barrel, 18.5'' with muzzle brake. A direct descendent of the HK416/417 series, only in a semi-automatic rifle configuration developed for civilian users. It is assembled in the USA using US & German-made components & uses many of the same parts & assemblies developed for the legendary HK416 and 417. The MR762A1 uses a proprietary HK short-stroke gas piston in place of the direct-gas-impingement system found on lesser AR15-style rifles that propels exhaust gas into the upper receiver to operate the action. In the ''closed'' HK piston system, exhaust gasses never enter the receiver, which means the HK runs cooler, cleaner & more reliably. When adverse conditions, like dust, sand & mud are introduced, the advantage of the HK system becomes even more drastic. That is why so many of the worlds elite military & law-enforcement customers have absolute trust in their HKs. The HK polymer slide adjusting stock & MAGPUL pistol grip, with storage compartment, are excellent. The Upgraded HK 14.7'' M-lok, FDE handgaurd is excellent. Also, comes with the original take-off 14.7 M-lok black handguard. The metal finish rates 99%+ overall. Bore is excellent & bright. Rifle has full length Picatinny rail on receiver & handguard for future optic mounting. Grooved rubber recoil pad. Side sling mount. Rifle comes with a new HK buttstock extension tube, with installation booklet, a second HK buttstock, with vertical & horizontal adjustable cheek. & four HK original 20 Rd magazines, three of which come stored in a HK zipper pouch. Rifle & accessories come stored in the original HK zipper padded case, with original owqners manual. Essentially, better than new with all the added accessories & condition.
