RARE Winchester, Model 61, Marked .22 SHORT, MFG. 1932 FIRST YEAR Example, SN: 5089, Pump Action Take-down Rifle, 24'' Tapered octagon barrel, Early pre-war small forearm. Factory flat knob pistol grip wood is excellent, with a few minor handling marks to the excellent original finish The finish is only thinning a bit on the forend. The original factory blue finish rates 95% overall, with a few tiny areas of rust speckling. Factory front & rear sights. Bore is excellent & bright. Factory checkered metal buttplate, Early small shell shaped loading slot. Examples like this with early small forend, short only caliber & an octagon barrel in such high condition are highly collectible. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 3000 to 6000
