Marlin, Model 38, .22 S. L. & LR. Cal., MFG. 1921-30, SN: A8171, Pump Rifle, 24'' Tapered octagon barrel, 2/3rd mag. The original factory wood stocks are very good & solid, having been sanded & refinished some time ago. The wood has since accumulated several minor scratches & contusions, with a couple of groupings of larger dings on the left side belly of the stock. Stocks retain a nice authentic appearance. The factory metal blue finish has worn or toned to a gray/brown patina. Barrel carries an adjustable rear & small blade front sights. Bore is very good, Original Marlin buttplate. Smooth tight action. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
