C.J Hamilton & Sons Model No. 43, 22 CAL L & S, MFG: 1924-32, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 16'' round tapered barrel. 35'' overall length. Similar to the model 23, with a top loading port. The straight grip board type walnut stock is very good, as sanded & refinished. It displays a few minor contusions & blemishes under the finish. Original metal blue finish has fully worn a gun metal gray. The steel rolled barrel carries the original brass liner, which has a good bore. 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16''. Factory blade front & fixed rear sight. Carries no buttplate as manufactured. ''S'' shaped trigger guard. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 125 to 250
