Thomas Hill, Double Barrel Muzzleloader Shotgun, CAL: 12GA C&B, MFG: N/A, SN: 5518, Percussion SxS Muzzleloader, 28 5/8'' barrels. The original checkered straight grip stock is very good & solid, having been lightly sanded & refinished. There are smoothed contusions, scrapes & dings. There is a blank silver rectangle initial plate on the top of the wrist. The browned finish on the Laminated Steel barrels is excellent, with handling points fading to a smooth brown patina. The side plates, hammers, tang, trigger guard & buttplate are all metal gray, displaying attractive ornamental scroll hand engraving. There are some remnants of laquer on the metal surfaces. Additionally, there are two inlaid gold lines on the top of the frame & two silver circles on each side. The bores are fair, dark & rough. The solid rib holds a single front bead. Ramrod present. Double triggers. Nipple condition is very good to excellent. LOP: 14 1/2''. Blackpowder, No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 2500
