Montgomery Ward, Model Hercules, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1929-31, SN: None, Break Action Single Shot Shotgun, 30'' barrel. The flat pistol grip wood stocks are very good & solid, having been sanded & refinished. There are three tightly repaired hairline cracks at the wrist & at the upper tang, along with the remains of light scratches & contusions. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 85%. The case-hardened receiver has faded mostly to a spotty dark gray with some brown patina & is marked ''HERCULES'', ''MONTGOMERY WARD & CO.'' on the left side. Bore is excellent. Single front bead. Loose trigger guard, Buttstock carries a black plastic buttplate. LOP: 13 3/8''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 50 to 200
