T. Ketland & Co., Flintlock Fowler, CAL: 16GA/65CAL, MFG: Late 1700's-1813 (proofs date), SN: NONE, Flintlock Muzzleloading Shotgun, 37 1/2'' barrel. The lock plate is marked ''T.KETLAND & CO'' & the top barrel flat is marked ''LONDON''. The initials ''CC'' are marked in the oval initial plate on the top of the wrist & on the left stock flat. The original Walnut straight grip stock is fair. There are multiple cracks & chips, alongside numerous nicks, dings, scratches & scrapes. The stock has darkened from additional protective oils/varnish added over time. The finish has toned to a brown patina, with areas worn to metal gray & fine pitting overall. Brass hardware has an aged patina. Ramrod present. This gun originally came from the Bob Hallam Collection; a well-known Canadian collector of Fur Trade items. Now, coming from the Michael Carrick collection. Blackpowder, No FFL Req. - Value: 700 to 1300
