UNIQUE SET, Colt 1873 Single Action Army, CAL: 41 COLT, MFG: 1901, SN: 206810, Single Action Revolver, 4 3/4'' barrel. The top of the barrel is faintly marked in two lines ''COLT'S PT F.A MFG CO HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.''. The left side of the barrel is marked ''41 COLT''. The left side of the frame is faintly marked with a standard two-line patent date & the Rampant Colt logo. Matching SN can be seen on the frame, trigger guard & butt. The authentic bone grips are excellent. The original finishes have fully worn to gun metal gray & toned to a brown patina, with remnants of case-coloring on the frame. There is pitting throughout the metal surfaces. Bore is poor, with consistent pitting & thinned rifling. V-notch rear groove & blade front sight. This revolver is accompanied by an 1890's - early 1900's Wyeth Hardware Co. leather ammo belt & tooled single loop holster. The belt also carries a coin pouch & an unmarked leather knife sheath that holds an unmarked blade with bone handle. Another complete set you'd see from the Old West.
