Colt, Model 1896/D.A 41, CAL: 41, MFG: 1903, SN: 218077, Double Action Revolver, 6'' barrel. The top of the barrel is stamped in two lines ''COLTS PT.F.A MFG. CO HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A/ PATENTED AUG.5.1884 NOV.6.88 MAR.5.95''. The left side of the barrel is marked ''COLT D.A 41''. The circled Rampant Colt logo can be seen on the back of the frame above the left grip. The SN is stamped on the butt. Part #''220'' can be seen on the frame, cylinder & cylinder release lever. The original ''COLT'' checkered rubber grips are good. The bottom front corrner of the left grip is missing, alongside other minor scrapes & dings. The original metal blue finish on the barrel rates 75% & the frame rates 65%, with areas worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina. Bore is very good, bright, with intermittent roughness & spotting throughout. Groove rear sight & blade front sight. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 900
