Smith & Wesson, Model MK II Hand Ejector 2nd model .CAL: .455 Webley, MFG: 1908-15, SN: 46125, Double Action Revolver, 6 7/16'' barrel. This pistol was sent to Austrailia. Marked on the backstrap ''3 M.D.'', which is the Third Military District, Southern Command, State of Victoria, Australia. The top of the barrel is marked with the standard two line address & patent dates. The left side of the barrel is marked ''Smith & Wesson .455''. The right side of the frame is marked with a large S&W trademark logo, under the logo stamped ''2132'' & front of frame stamped ''3/96''. The original S&W medallion & diamond checkered wood grips are very good & solid. There are dings, scrapes & smooth checkering. The bottom of the right grip has three initials ''VLH'' scratched into it. The orignal metal blue finish rates 75%overall. Bore is excellent. U-notch on top of frame for rear sight & tall half moon blade front sight. Lanyard loop. Very nice original example. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
