Tower (British), Flintlock Trade Pistol, CAL: 70, MFG: c.1820's, SN: NONE, Flintock Pistol, 8 1/2'' barrel.
HISTORY: Typical trade pistol from the 1820's.
MARKINGS: Lock Plate: ''CROWN/GR'', ''CROWN/BROAD ARROW'', ''TOWER'' on tail of lock. Barrel: ''LONDON''.
CONDITION: The original wood stock is very good & solid. There are dings, scratches & scrapes throughout. The top of the wrist has a blank brass oval initial place. The lock plate & action have worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina. The brass barrel, trigger guard & cap have an aged patina, with similar wear marks. Bore is fair, consistent roughness & pitting. No sights. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 1500
