LeFever Arms Co., Hammerless SxS Shotgun, CAL: 12GA, MFG: 1892-93, SN: 18592, Break Action, Choke: M/IM, 30'' Damascus barrels. Factory markings & patent dates on the receiver, full SN on the trigger guard. The original checkered & capped pistol grip stocks are very good & solid. The stocks have been lightly sanded & refinished, with a portion of the checkering being re-traced. There are smoothed contusions, scrapes & dings, with an added layer of finish applied at one point in time. The fingerprint patter on the Damascus barrels is faded, but visible. The barrels have worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina, with spotting throughout. The case-hardened frame has fully worn to metal gray, with spotting toned to a brown patina. Bores are good, with consistent roughness throughout, some light pitting & a barrel ring appx half way down the right barrel. The solid matted rib holds a single front bead. Stock carries a LAC checkered buttplate. Mechanical operation appears to function properly. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 700
