Winchester, Model 1886, 40-82 WCF, MFG. 1895, SN: 105124, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip stocks are excellent, as having been cleaned & possibly very lightly sanded & nicely refinished. There remains a few minor handling marks or light contusions. There is a 1'' stress crack at the left forward portion of the wrist against the receiver. The original metal blue finish on the barrel & mags rates 80%. The case-hardened receiver, lever & hammer displaying outlines & smokey remains of case-colors. The sliding bolt retains 80% of its original bright blue. The receiver carries a Lyman flip-up tang sight, while the barrel is fitted with an adjustable rear sight & pinched blade front sight. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a crescent metal buttplate. This rifle presents well with original metal finishes & remains a collectible antique case-hardened 1886. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 2750 to 3500
