Winchester, Model 1892, CAL: 44-40 W.C.F., MFG: 1917, SN: 827702, Lever Action Rifle, 24 1/4'' Round Barrel, Full Mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with several minor contusions & light scratches to the original finish, which is showing thinning lose at the wrist & forend grip areas. The original metal blue finish on the barrel rates 80%, 85% on the mag tube & 75% on the receiver, with loss due to speckled browning on right sides of the receiver & barrel. Bore is excellent & bright. The rifle is fitted with the original adjustable rear & pinched blade front sights. Buttstock carries the original crescent metal buttplate. This is an all original & desirable 44 WCF rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2750 to 3500
