Winchester Model 1892 SRC, CAL: 44 WCF (44-40), MFG: 1917, SN: 829458, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with a number of minor to small contusions & light scratches (mostly found on forend) to the excellent original finish. The original metal blue finish rates 95% on the barrel & mag tube, 25% bright blue remaining on the receiver, with loss on receiver due to large splotching areas of ''Winchester flaking'' loss (thinning) on sides toning to a brown patina. Bore is minty. Barrel fitted with the correct carbine adjustable flip-up ladder rear & standard carbine box front sights. Smooth metal carbine buttplate. Smooth tight action. Other than the ''Winchester Flaking'' receiver loss, this is a very sharp looking & all original collectible rifle.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3000 to 4500
