Winchester Model 1892 SRC, CAL: 25-20 WCF, MFG: 1912, SN: 745328, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are very good, with a number of minor contusions, scrapes & scratches. The stock appears to carry the original finish, while the forend has been previously sanded & reoiled. The finish is thin on the forend, particularly worn on the left side. The metal blue refinish rates 90% overall, but with some nicks & abrasions under blue. There are several small contusions to the mag tube a couple of inches in front of the forend tip. Bore is very good & bright, with strong rifling. Barrel fitted with the correct carbine adjustable flip-up ladder rear & standard carbine box front sights. Smooth metal carbine buttplate has been reblued & has slightly wrong contour giving it a thin gap in the middle. Replaced saddle ring. Smooth tight action. A nice looking shooter SRC 1892.
