Winchester, Model 1894 SRC, CAL: 25-35 WCF, MFG: 1902, SN: 189847, Lever Action Carbine, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. The straight grip wood stocks are very good & solid, with several tiny to minor scrapes, scratches & contusions to the stocks. The stock appear to have been cleaned & possibly lightly sanded & refinished a long time ago, but matches well the original finish on the forend. The forend has a 1 1/4'' crack at the tip. The original metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with 40% blue remaining on the barrel & mag tube, while the receiver has just remnants of original blue & a very thin brown patina. Bore is very good. The barrel is fitted with a carbine ladder rear sight & carbine box front sight. There are two screw filled provisions on the left side of the receiver for a side mounted receiver sight. Stock carries a smooth metal carbine buttplate. Saddle ring. Smooth tight action. A very nice authentic appearance on this SRC shooter in the collectible 25-35 caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
