Winchester, Model 71 Long Tang, CAL: 348 WCF, MFG: 1936, SN: 10080, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' barrel, 1/2 Mag. The original pistol grip wood stock is very good & solid. They have been custom adorned with several geometrical inlays to both the forearm & stock, with a pistol grip cap added. The stocks were than sanded & refinished, leaving few contusions or handling marks. There is a corner break repair at the top left side of wrist & a 2'' deeper scratch fill on the right side of the forend. The metal blue refinish rates 95% overall. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver carries a side-mounted Williams adjustable peep sight. The barrel has a blank filled rear dovetail & the front sight is a ramp elevated blade, no hood. Stock has a checkered metal widow's peak metal buttplate, with custom spacer. Sling studs. Unique look & likely a great shooter. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
