Marlin, Model 1894 CARBINE, CAL: 44 REM MAG, MFG: 1976, SN: 24153945, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original smooth straight grip wood stocks are very good, with the stock having been sanded & reoiled. There remains some rough sanding lines in the area of the belly of the wrist. The finish on the forearm appears original, but is worn to give it a flat oiled appearance which matches the stock finish. There are some light scratches & contusions on the stocks. The metal black refinish has 98% coverage. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel has an adjustable rear & a ramped hooded blade front sights. Stock carries a later model Marlin solid rubber recoil pad, with horse & rider logo. Sling studs, with the one in the stock mounted in the bullseye trademark. Gold trigger. A good vintage lever hunting rifle. FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
