CUSTOM Browning Model 71, CAL: 450 ALASKAN, MFG: Modern, SN: 01943PR1C7, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Custom round barrel. A Browning rifle is modern reproduction of Winchester's model 71, which replaced the famous 1886. Both the Browning & Winchester versions of this rifle were produced in 348 WIN, which this rifle has been rechambered & upgraded to fire the larger & more powerful 450 Alaskan. The custom deluxe, cheeked & capped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, with virtually no defects to the excellent high gloss finish. The stock has a rose wood pistol grip cap. Both stock & forearm exhibit superb exhibition grade & contrasting wood grain. The original metal blue finish rates 99%. The bore is excellent & bright. No markings on barrel other than the caliber. The rifle carries an adjustable side mounted Redfield receiver sight, while the barrel has a hooded blade front sight. The stock carries a Pachmayr Old English solid rubber recoil pad. Fitted with sling studs. A truly fantastic & sharp appearing custom built lever Alaskan hunting rifle. FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
