J. Stevens A. & T. Co., Model No. 44, Cal: 25 RF, MFG: 1894 - 1933, SN: 14144, Single Shot Rolling Block, 25'' Replaced round barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are good. There is a 2'' crack emanating off the ends of both the upper & lower tangs. There is some filler between the back of the forend & the receiver. There are minor to small scratches, scrapes & contusions to what appears to be the orginal finish. The left & right sides of the barrel are both stamped ''A.W. PETERSON -DENVER. COLO''. The SN is stamped on both the lower tang. The metal blue finish to the barrel rates 60%. The case-hardened receiver has toned to a spotty thin brown patina. The barrel carries a Western adjustable rear & Lyman small blade front sights. Bore has been sleeved & rates excellent. Stock carries a crescent metal buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 350
