Winchester, Model 70, CAL: marked 270 WIN, MFG. 1954 (Pre-64), SN: 302249, 24'' Round tapered barrel. The factory checkered & flat pistol grip wood stock is very good, with several minor to small handling marks, scratches or contusions to the original factory finish. The metal blue finishes rate 95% overall, with a small spot of clean rust pitting 9'' from muzzle on the barrel. The floorplate & trigger guard carry approximately 80% of blue fading gray. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel has a single leaf folding rear sight & a ramped small blade front sight. The stock carries the a Pachmayr White-Line solid recoil pad, with LOP at 13''. Sling loops. An original pre-64 model 70 rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
