Winchester, Model 70 Featherweight, CAL: marked 308 WIN, MFG. 1961 (Pre-64), SN: 506951, 22'' Round tapered barrel. This rifle was fully & professionally refinished. The factory checkered & flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, as professionally refinished. The hand cut checkering was very nicely retraced & sharpened up. There are only a couple of handling marks or contusions to the excellent finish. The metal blue finishes have been restored rating 95% overall, with the receiver starting to turn plum. The floorplate has worn or been polished to a gun metal gray. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver carries a Nikon SA 3-9x40 scope, while the barrel has an open rear dovetail & no front sight. Wider trigger shoe added to trigger. The stock carries the a Pachmayr White-Line ventilated recoil pad. Sling studs. A sharp appearing pre-64 model 70 featherweight rifle.
