Remington, Model 700, CAL: CAL: 30-06 SPRG, MFG:1965, SN: 175249, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' round barrel, The original cheeked, hand checkered & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo style wood stock is very good. There minor scratches & light contusions to the wood & original finish, with also has lots of finish level scrapes, areas of flaking or chipping, & is worn thin or lost in areas. The stock carries an ebony toned forend tip & pistol grip cap. The original metal blue finish rates 80% on the receiver, 40%on barrel, with the floorplate & trigger guard worn mostly gun metal gray. Bore is very good. The receiver holds a Leupold VARI-X III 2.5X8 scope, with caps, while the barrel carries screw filled factory provisions for open sights. Stock carries the original metal buttplate. Sling studs. A solid vintage hunting rifle, with scope. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 750
